For CALVARY COLLEGE OF THEOLOGY
Calvary College of Theology is primarily open for men and women preparing for the Christian Ministry. All candidates for admission must supply evidence of Christian character and competent scholastic ability. Membership in the Bible Missionary Church Nigeria Incorporated is not required for admission to CCT, but every student will be required to refrain from opposition to the doctrinal views and accepted policies maintained by the Bible Missionary Church Nigeria Incorporated while studying in this college.
All applicants must have satisfactorily completed their primary education. CCT assumes the student enrolling has a rudimentary knowledge of English language. Remedial coursework may be needed to fulfill this requirement.
Students may be admitted with advance standing by producing evidence of acceptable course work from other recognized institutions of higher learning. An official transcript from the institution must be sent directly to CCT. Calvary College of Theology reserves the right to accept only those courses in transfer whose content and objectives are equivalent to those required for graduation from CCT. Minimum course grades will depend upon CCT’s assessment of the institution where the work was completed
CCT does not accept transfer credit in theology. A minimum of 32 semester hours in residence is required to earn a degree from the college.

- After completing the application, the prospective student should return it with a recent passport photo of yourself and the other requested document to Calvary College of Theology
- The Student should send a copy of any Secondary School Learning Certificate/Exam Results. If you have any other Post Secondary Education, you should have an official transcript sent to CCT.
- Applications should be sent as early as possible before school begins, to allow for processing. Allow the college several weeks to process your application and to contact personal references. When all application materials have been received and evaluated, the applicant will be notified of his admission status
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DEPARTMENT OF RELIGIOUS & CULTURAL STUDIES
(AFFILIATED TO UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR, CALABAR)
Candidates with five ‘0’ level credits in WAEC or NECO are admitted through UME to a four year degree
2. DIRECT ENTRY
Candidates With diploma in philosophy, religion or theology and NCE are admitted through direct entry into a
three year degree programme.
N/B: All candidates must sit and pass Post UME Aptitude Test as a precondition for admission.
